ABOUT
The Imposter Screenings started because I had a short film I wanted to screen, but hated the thought of inviting people to an event for something that was only 12 minutes long.
So instead of making it about one film, I wanted to make it about many—bringing together young, scrappy filmmakers who made something and were willing to share it.
This isn't a festival. There are no submission fees or barriers to entry. I simply want to celebrate the act of trying, maybe even failing, and sharing our work with each other.
It's called The Imposter Screenings because, honestly, I think we all have a little imposter syndrome. This community exists to remind us that making the work and putting it into the world is enough.
